By choosing to be a 1099 Independent Contractor, you understand there is no partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Fast Staff of Texas LLC of any third party for whom you may provide services. You will take no position in any tax return or proceeding inconsistent with your status as an Independent Contractor. You are solely responsible for determining the method, time, and place for any services you perform. You are solely responsible for taxes on your own income. Fast Staff of Texas LLC will not withhold or make payments for any taxes, unemployment insurance, workers compensation insurance, or any other tax or insurance on your behalf. You are solely responsible for all tax filings and payments as required by any federal, state, or local taxing authority and are governed by all laws regarding self employed individuals. To the extent required by the IRS, Fast Staff of Texas LLC will report payments to you for services rendered by filing a Form 1099. You consent to electronic delivery of any form 1099. As an Independent Contractor, you will not be eligible for unemployment insurance or workers compensation coverage. You will not be eligible for any benefit available to employees including but not limited to overtime wages. You will not be paid by the hour, but by the shift(s) and task(s) you perform.
